Interior Project

The Raghuwanshi family sought interior designers in Baner–Mahalunge, and they approached us in late January, just before the onset of COVID. At that time, their apartment was still under construction, and they urgently required our design expertise to incorporate essential civil changes during the construction phase. In their quest for interior designers in Baner, they evaluated several firms, focusing on experts capable of reconfiguring bathrooms, kitchens, and dry balconies, and addressing plumbing and civil work challenges. After visiting multiple sites in the vicinity and obtaining budgetary information from various providers, the Raghuwanshi family conducted thorough due diligence and ultimately chose the decorMyPlace team for their project.

Executing this project during the challenging COVID period posed difficulties related to labor and material availability. The extensive scope of work included erecting walls to accommodate changes in bedroom and bathroom placements, tiling the entire apartment floor, installing tiles in all bathrooms, handling plumbing, waterproofing, electrification, false ceilings, and carpentry. Custom furniture such as sofas, dining sets, coffee tables, and corner tables were meticulously designed and crafted from scratch. The base stands predominantly featured GOLDEN PVD coated metal pieces, while durable and tough quartz was the preferred material for the table tops. The kitchen was adorned with a white quartz surface, and Hettich drawers or tandem systems were selected for functionality. To achieve a luxurious appearance for the kitchen, we recommended LACQUERED GLASS from Saint-Gobain. Additionally, metal strips were incorporated into the master bedroom TV unit and guest bedroom. To align with current trends, wainscot designs were suggested for the living area. The bedrooms were adorned with cushioned bed-backs, featuring premium matching fabrics on all sides of the bed.
