Interior Project

Mr. and Mrs. Deshmukh, an educated couple with European influences in their tastes, returned to India after spending several years in Europe to embark on their own educational venture. Given their time abroad, their preference for interior aesthetics leaned towards European style, characterized by neutral colors, warm white lighting, straight-line designs, and minimalist furniture. Upon purchasing their 3BHK apartment, they began searching for the best interior designers in nearby areas such as Baner and Balewadi. While evaluating various interior design firms in Baner and Balewadi, as well as modular furniture providers in Pune, the Deshmukh family sought a comprehensive solution for their interior project. Their vision included significant civil work, such as converting one bathroom into a walk-in wardrobe, installing a new kitchen platform in quartz, and completely revamping the utility space. After shortlisting 4-5 firms and meticulously inspecting their completed projects, the family, with their discerning taste for premium finishes and hardware with modern functionalities, chose decorMyPlace as their ideal interior solution partner.

The Deshmukh family had specific requirements, envisioning a clutter-free and well-organized home with dedicated storage for each item. They also desired a touch of greenery, reflecting their love for nurturing plants. Specific needs included setting up a premium home theatre system, arranging gaming consoles, and incorporating music facilities for karaoke parties. Automation through Alexa, especially for lighting, was a must. Additionally, they needed space-saving furniture like a sofa cum bed to transform the guest room into a daily practice space for dancing, easily convertible into a bed when guests arrived. The project kicked off with the demolition phase, involving the removal of bathroom walls, the old kitchen platform, dado tiles, and the common washbasin counter. The initial phase encompassed dusty tasks like masonry work, false ceiling installation, window replacements, air-conditioning piping, electrification, and plumbing. In the second phase, the focus shifted to carpentry and furniture electrification, followed by the final finishing touches, including wallpapering and painting. The project concluded with the selection of artifacts and loose furniture, such as the dining table and sofas.
