Interior Project

In 2021, Mr. Bhalgat initiated a search for top-notch interior designers in the Katraj area. He was referred to us by a friend, whose 3BHK flat at Sus Pashan Road, Pune, we had previously adorned. Mr. Bhalgat, a young entrepreneur with a newly acquired 2 BHK flat on the second floor, expressed a desire for a modern and contemporary interior design theme. He was open to experimenting with various materials. The project encompassed civil and masonry tasks such as constructing a new dry balcony, changing tiles, extending the kitchen platform, and performing civil work for the bedroom balcony. The furniture scope involved designing the kitchen, sofa, dining table, and all other furniture within the flat. For the kitchen drawers, the client chose the Hettich tandem boxes system. Sliding systems from Hettich/Hafele were incorporated into all wardrobes, and beds featured cushioned bed-backs with premium matching fabrics. Lighting elements included track lights, hanging lights, cove lights, and various decorative lights integrated into furniture and false ceilings.

Upon the client's request for additional beds to accommodate guests, we proposed fitting Murphy beds or wall-folding beds in the living room since both bedrooms were already occupied. The Murphy bed could host 2-3 guests in the living room and could be conveniently pulled down when needed. In the upright position, this bed occupied merely 6 sq. ft of carpet area, resulting in significant savings of almost 30 sq. ft of valuable carpet space. For the bedrooms, storage with glass shutters was requested, and we utilized aluminum profile shutters with tinted glass. Profile lights were strategically placed in ceilings, storage areas, and other locations. A breakfast bar unit was also part of the client's requirements, and we accordingly created a dedicated space with decorative hanging lights for both illumination and decoration.
