Interior Project

In 2019, Mr. and Mrs. Ghuli purchased their apartment shortly before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Two months before taking possession, they initiated a quest to find the most suitable interior designers or firms in Pune. After exploring numerous studios from various companies, consulting individual practitioners, and inspecting ongoing projects, they ultimately chose to collaborate with the decorMyPlace team. The couple carefully assessed different factors, including the premium quality of materials, a discount concept for bulk purchases, attractive designs, and low-maintenance furniture components. Mrs. Ghuli emphasized the importance of a dedicated team with a long-duration warranty, considering past challenges with maintenance and timelines in a previous project.

The couple envisioned a minimalist, neutral color theme with ample space for their daughter to play. The project included the installation of decorMyPlace's renowned wall folding bed (Murphy bed). The selected color palette featured calming tones such as white, grays, and muted earthy hues, creating a serene atmosphere conducive to minimalist design. A significant aspect of the project involved converting one of the bathrooms into a laundry room, necessitating civil work like demolition and plumbing. The client also desired a food disposer in the kitchen, and decorMyPlace managed the entire process from electrical requirements to procurement and installation. The family had specific expectations for false ceiling designs, focusing on various types of lighting, including focus lighting, ambient lighting, functional lighting, and mood lighting.

Given the client's emphasis on maintenance-free furniture components, the project placed a particular emphasis on creating dust-free and easy-to-clean spaces. The couple prioritized well-designed working desks, tailoring each desk to meet their specific requirements. The project scope extended to the balcony, where granite seating was suggested, and a retractable awning was added to the balcony roof. The decorMyPlace team secured the client's trust through their passion, commitment, and attention to the client's unique needs and preferences.
