About Apartment
This is around 24yrs old apartment in Worli, Mishra family has been staying here for last almost 5-6 years in their 2 BHK, in 2018 they bought adjacent 1 BHK flat which is attached to their existing 2 BHK. Family decided to combine these flats in such a way that it looks like one single apartment internally without damaging any existing major structure. With the demolition of 2 walls we could combine both the apartments seamlessly and after complete renovation its fully functional 3 bhk with very large kitchen.

Interior Project

Mr. Amarkant Mishra contacted us when we were working in the same complex for Mr. Mittal on the ground floor. In order to evaluate Interior partner for their dream home Mishra family met at least 8-9 Interior designers and decorators in Worli area, they visited around 10 – 12 projects and contacted various friends across Mumbai to check out their interiors. After seeing our work and assurance of long term warranty made his choice to go with decormyplace team for this renovation project. The scope included demolition of all floor tiles, 1 bathroom, kitchen countertop and 2 walls to be demolished to combine flats, designing of kitchen, dining table, home automation, large breakfast bar unit. Family desired to have complete modern look with the pastel colour especially off white and turquoise shades in most of the common areas like living, passage and kitchen. Master bedroom, Kid’s room decided to be more colourful than common areas. To create the illumination of large room we used mirrors on wardrobes. Most of the shutters and drawers are without handles except kitchen. Hardware used is mostly from Hettich / Hafele / BLUM. In kids room they wanted bunk bed so accordingly room designed with bunk bed with sports football theme.

We were looking for larger space and shifting to other complex was on cards, but luckily in 2018 we got the opportunity to buy 1 BHK adjacent apartments, we thought of renovating both flats together to create one single large space. For this renovation we were looking for some professional designers so accordingly we started search for the best interior designers and decorators in worli.
